The 15th Meeting of the Expert Group on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures and Food Standard (SPS Expert Group) and the 19th Meeting of Thailand – Australia Joint Working Group on Agriculture
On 17 July 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra organised a blood and plasma donation activity at Canberra Garran Donor Centre, as part of the Royal Thai Volunteers Activity to commemorate the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 28 July 2024. The activity was led by H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, and attended by Heads of Team Thailand Agencies in Canberra, officials and staff of the Embassy and Team Thailand Agencies, along with their spouses and family members. Fifteen blood and plasma donations were made which could help improve the health outcomes of 45 patients.
On this occasion, the Ambassador was briefed about the operation of the Centre, which is the only permanent donation centre in Canberra. The Royal Thai Embassy also offered Thai savoury and sweet finger foods for other donors and staff of the centre.
